Each action is cut utilizing advanced wire EDM technology for precision tolerances and reduced internal residual stress on the action compared to traditional machining.
Each action comes with a self-indexing titanium recoil lug, complete bolt, and a 20 MOA Picatinny rail. The enhanced recoil lug adds thread length for more contact with the barrel and increased overall precision in your rifle. The 20 MOA Picatinny rail can easily be removed for the hole alignment to be compatabile with a set of front Remington rings for complete customization. Other features include a streamlined external bolt stop located above the stock line and an integral trigger hanger system for ease of assembly and enhanced trigger repeat-ability in the field.

Description Of JJ Rock Co. SUPERXL Receiver:
Receiver is machined from pre-heat-treated 416 stainless steel, and the bolt is NP3 coated and features an interchangeable bolt knob.
Receiver is multifaceted, and the dimensions are 10.65″ long x 1.65″ wide.
Receivers are machined with an integral recoil lug and a 30, 45, or 60 MOA picatinny style scope rail.
***NOW AVAILABLE*** The SUPERXL Cadex Variant is compatible with the Cadex Dual Strike Chassis.
1.1875″ x 18 barrel threads are machined 1.8″ deep, providing superior support for longer, heavy barrel contours.
Receiver uses any Remington 700 style trigger.

$2,190.00 Select optionsMeasuring in at 1.450″ wide and 9.5″ long, the 1581XL action is the largest of the Surgeon line of actions. It comes with a full-length 30 MOA integral 1913 MIL-STD picatinny rail, a huge .450″ integral recoil lug, and a large 1-1/8″ x 16 tenon thread, which requires the use of a 1.350″ diameter barrel.
The 1581 actions utilize a removable trigger hanger that was built for Remington 700 style triggers. In the middle of the left bolt raceway is an anti-jam rail. This rail is designed to prevent a round from lodging in the raceway when single loading the rifle through the ejection/loading port. Similar to the Surgeon short and long actions, the 1581Xl has a side-mounted, shrouded bolt stop to help prevent accidental releasing of the bolt.
